I've used Dreamweaver a couple of times on other computers. It is a top notch WYSIWYG html editor. I don't personally have it because the price is just too steep for the little coding I do. I stick with the freeware text editors. smile

The combination of Fireworks and Dreamweaver is pretty good. A lot of what you do in Fireworks can be quickly and easily dumped into Dreamweaver as html. Fireworks also makes a good all-around graphics editor. I personally use PaintShop Pro 7, again because of price.

I've just got to say, I have never seen any two programs work so well together before. I use these for practically any web design job I do. It is a great time save, and they integrate well. Fireworks allows you to slice up your images, into table cells, then export it in Fireworks HTML so that you can import it in dreamweaver, and it works like a dream. smile

Fireworks wil also allow you to add HTML effects to import intoweaver such as simple mousovers, advanced mouse overs, dropdown menus, and adding URL's to a specified hot spot. These features cut down the time spent on your page durastically, but not the quality. It is very useful for creating interfaces as well, because of the slice tool.

In Dreamweaver, you can simply select a graphic, and click on edit in the properties docker, and it will open up fireworks and have it ready to go. There is also libraries in dreamweaver, which i havent really gotten all into, but are useful because i believe you can simply convert .png files into .lib files for use in dreamweaver, and then when you need to edit, it is there all ready to go as if you had just finished making it.

Anyway, great tools.. smile I've gotten an amazing amount of use out of them both.

But they both are massive RAM hoggers. But if you have the RAM then they work quite well together.
